Two years on Hi. ⛵️ Two years that challenged us, stretched us, and opened us up in ways we didn’t expect. It’s been beautiful. And hard. And completely worth it. Some days felt like two weeks. Others like five years. We’ve had unforgettable highs – and some very real lows. One of the biggest lessons? This life triggers everything. Our perfectionism. Our need for control. Our idea of “how things should be.” And that doesn’t make it easier – but it makes it honest. It shows us who we really are. And what we’re ready to let go of. We’ve fixed things, broken things, tried things, and left things behind. We’ve learned.We’ve grown.And our love? It’s deeper than ever – even when it’s messy. Are we fully there yet? Maybe. J109 Going to Red gliding by GBR 7737 from the IRC 0 fleet during Volvo Cork Week 2024. The crew on the downwind boat was calm as the boats converged, making only a small adjust to ensure they stay clear. Shortly after the close cross it was time to take on the lay line and get after the leaders of the IRC1 race who had got the jump on the redline racing team at the start.
