In this episode we sail to Bora Bora in French polynesia and see some of the incredible over water bungalows at the resorts, but some of them have a price tag of $10,000 per night... SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing across the Pacific Ocean!! This week Erik and David sit down with Paul and Rebecca from SV Mystic Hearts as they detail what liveaboard life is like along America’s East Coast balancing work life in Virginia with life on a Beneteau 473. In this episode of Three Sheets, we dive a little deeper into their cruising plans for the future, and what to expect if you’re thinking about transitioning to life on the water. I love this feature for two reasons; first, it is a great example of how responsive Vision is to customer feedback that can make the boat better, and second, because I had at least a little input in its creation! In a nutshell, they help prevent the running rigging from getting snagged on the rigid solar panel corners. Flexible panels wouldn't have this problem to begin with, but they are nowhere near as efficient, they get hot and they don't last as long. We were very happy to be getting rigid solar panels, but were less than thrilled about having to be super vigilant to prevent a damaged sheet or panel. I believe these clips will fully remove this concern; thanks Grant (Vision Engineer)! Want more?
