In diesem Video erkläre ich wie man den eineinhalb Rundtörn mit zwei halben Schlägen steckt. Man benutzt diesen Knoten z.B., um eine Leine an einem Ring zu befestigen. The Cleat Hitch is a simple but effective way to secure your boat to the dock. Many people will argue that you should not use this method (preferring the OXO method) ad it can lock tight under heavy load. The team at bottom up boats agree to disagree with these critics as we firmly believe that there is a time and a place for everything. The clear hitch is neat and does not take up massive around of room on the cleat. In addition to the the cleat hitch ties nicely over the top of other lines which are being used to secure boats or yachts which got to the dock before you. If you want to learn more about the cleat hitch and OXO methods for securing your boat then take a look out our full length video where we take you through the pros and cons of both. https://youtu.be/LepMcTJuFfI If you want full instructions on how to tie the cleat hitch then follow the link below to learn more. https://youtu.be/5tnpsmPpL9k The team at bottom up boats hope you enjoyed this short video video where we teach you how to tie the cleat hitch in less than 30 seconds.
Harking from a seminal period in Sparkman & Stephens design history following their 12-Metre INTREPID's America's Cup success - when S&S led the way in split-keel-and-rudder racers and cruiser-racers - ROSE WILDER has the added good fortune of build by one of the finest of Italian yards, Cantiere Sangermani. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/710/ROSE%20WILDER%20(ex%20SANDPIPER) Their artistic attention to detail and quality is evident throughout. As SANDPIPER in long initial ownership by Santa Barbara Yacht Club's Dean Brown, she was a well known and successful participant in some of the classic West Coast USA offshore races. Subsequently she has cruised the Pacific seaboard in the hands of only two owners who, not surprisingly, fell in love with this very attractive, responsive and sure-footed yacht. Modern sail handling systems allow her to be easily sailed single or short handed while bow and stern thrusters allow neat berthing feats. Although very much in commission, ROSE WILDER does require attention to elements of her structure commensurate with her age - reflected in a very reasonable asking price for a very striking 50-footer with superb provenance.
