What began as a one-year sabbatical turned into Odd Life Crafting—a long-form documentary project told in seasons, each one a new DIY challenge and a step toward living the life we dreamed of. Season 3 – The Rebuild We found a sailboat that had been neglected for over 22 years and spent two full years restoring her, learning everything we could in the process. Season 4 – The Voyage We lived aboard and sailed for two incredible years, exploring the Brazilian coast and part of the Caribbean, documenting every step of the journey. Season 5 – A New Build, A New Life Now in Europe, we’ve begun building a 43ft aluminum expedition sailboat from scratch—this time while raising the newest (and tiniest) member of our crew, our baby boy. The stakes are higher, but so is our motivation.
