Yachts Born in the U.S.A. -The ones that got away! Researching this video was a real eye opener for me. I knew that there was a rich yacht building history in the United States, but had never really studied the subject. From the spectacular picnic boats built by Hinckley to the wonderful runabouts produced by Chris Craft and sensational hand built vessels that Brooklin Boatyard turn out, the one thing these boats have in common is an exemplary attention to detail. I feel sure that the workers in each of these yards feel very proud to be part of some of the finest products to be built in America.
