We Won! Sailor Experiences Japanese Festival #travel #sailing #okinawa

I took a break from boat projects to participate in a 450-year-old festival featuring a massive Tug of War. I was honored to join the West Team (RED) in this annual epic battle. The rope weighs over 5 tons and stretches 90 meters long. We paraded it through the streets before facing the opposing team in front of a grandstand of dignitaries.
