Watching Awesome Stromboli Volcano Eruption from our Sailboat - Sailing Disa S2 E6

In this episode we sail into Italian waters, visiting the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Vulcano is the island that volcanoes are named after. Ancient Romans believed that this small island was the chimney of Vulcan, the Roman god of fire. Here we find hot springs under the sea, in the shallow water close to the beach. Stromboli is an active volcano.
