Il Veya 53 è stato presentato in anteprima mondiale allo Yachting Festival di Cannes. La barca, disegnata dallo studio Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design, è stata una delle novità più importanti del salone perché non si tratta solo di un nuovo catamarano a motore, ma anche di un nuovo brand, Veya Yachts, che nasce da una joint venture tra il gruppo Fountaine Pajot e il cantiere Couach.
