Up Wind, To The Woman I Love || sailing solo to Panama from Ecuador

In this video I sail to Panama to meet Renate who returns by plane, due to covid restrictions and lock downs we struggle to physically meet. I set off from Ecuador on a 9 day sail to Panama against the wind and current its very frustrating for me as I average around 2.5knots daily which is very slow. As I near Panama Renate informs me via iridium that she has landed and by the time I get to the marina she would be ready to visit. In Panama they were having total weekend lockdowns meaning when Renate and I arrived, her on friday and me on saturday, there were no taxi's or public transport to take us to each other. But Renate is a woman of many resources so she figures out a way to get to me.
