Time to Sail out of Martinique for Trinidad! ЁЯЗ╣ЁЯЗ╣
With the hurricane season upon us it was time for us to say good bye to Martinique and sail south for the safety of Trinidad & Tobago. The final leg of our journey down the Caribbean island chain was expected to take 36 hours, and rather than taking the conventional path behind the islands, we chose to sail across the Atlantic Ocean on the windward side. It's an unusual route, but one we chose with the hope of landing far enough east, to ride the current on the north side of Trinidad into the anchorage.
