The story behind CATAMARAN COCKTAILS

In July of 2020, Ryan and Lauren said goodbye to their life in the heart of New York City and began an ambitious hunt for a sailing catamaran to call their new home. The complicated journey, which began on the North East Coast, steered them to Antigua. Then due to a handful of unexpected twists and turns, they ultimately settled even further south in West indies on the island of Grenada. Hang with the dreaming duo as they discover new places and people, and adapt to their new life living on a boat in the Caribbean ....a life that they wouldn't have imaged even two years ago from their Manhattan apartment. To stay sane, they test out cocktail recipes using local ingredients and try to make connections with small local businesses. They usually end up having to be creative and make do with limited ingredients from their small island- which is great for all of you and your home bars. It's good to learn what flavors work together, and which don't. And also to know how to make substitutions. Ryan and Lauren are now full time "livaboards" on Coco Bongo, their Fountiane Pajot Belize 43. She's an owners version of a sailing catamaran, which they feel is the absolute perfect fit for them. They did seach high and low for her, afterall.
