Testing a trolling motor on the Welsford SCAMP 12 foot sailboat

I want to replace the 3hp petrol outboard with a small electric motor as the SCAMP doesn't take a lot of power to move it along. The usual electric outboards such as the epropulsion cost $4000 so I wanted to see if a small $200 trolling motor would do the job.
