Successfully raced from the RSYS in Sydney, Impetuous Too was specified as a new boat and campaigned by a well-known Sydney yachtsman. As she moved from an IRC yacht to a more relaxed twilight cruiser/racer, several clever adaptations were added from 2021 onwards. Her starboard mainsheet winch was electrified and can be used for mainsheet control or as a maneuvering winch for halyards. She was fitted with Harken furler and a battened Norths Norlam furler was fitted. A CHPS Aramid Mainsail was fitted in 2023 and a Lazyjack bag was also added to the inventory. She has an IRC carbon spinnaker pole, a carbon bow prodder, and an aluminium whisker pole, allowing her to run both symmetrical and an asymmetrical setup.
