Toughest steel hull design is by folded steel aka Origami Method. Brent Swain introduced this method first for sailboats 40 years ago. Not a single Swain Boat has sunk despite collisions with reefs, ships and in the case of a boat named "Mungo" driven ashore in a hurricane off Mexico. The hull design allows for a foamed 2" layering of the entire interior hull surface making a dry and perfectly comfortable liveaboard, great blue water or coastal ship. The design allows for self building with the view to make truly safe cruising available to the minimalist budget owners. (Shared day outing or Shared Adventure aboard?
