Suria bekommt Coppercoat. Werftaufenthalt auf Langfahrt / Segeln
Es wird spannend! Suria wird von einem riesigen Travellift aus dem Wasser geholt und über das Werftgelände an ihren Stellplatz gebracht. Hier werden wir die nächsten Wochen an Land weiter auf ihr wohnen. Zügig geht es los mit den Schleifarbeiten und nach zwei Wochen wird das Coppercoat aufgetragen. Eine Woche später wird es aktiviert, also angeschliffen. Während die Mitarbeiter von Slick Hull fleißig an Suria arbeiten, widmen wir uns unseren Bootsprojekten. Es gibt viel zu tun - packen wir´s an! It's getting exciting! Suria is hauled out by a huge travel lift and brought across the shipyard to her parking place. Here we will continue to live on her for the next few weeks ashore. The sanding work starts quickly and after two weeks the coppercoat is applied. A week later, it is activated, i.e. sanded. While the Slick Hull employees work diligently on Suria, we devote ourselves to our boat projects. There's a lot to do - let's get to it!
