This boat can sail well, upwind and down, with a rig that emphasizes ease of handling and she has the added advantages of offering protected inside steering as well as an engine capable of maintaining hull speed at very comfortable RPM levels. Perry’s design was ahead of its time. He erred on the side of her being a sailboat with a modified classic Perry hull sporting fuller aft sections to improve motoring ability. Hull volume provides enough tankage for both fuel and water to make her a worthy long-range yacht. The interior is bright, airy and spacious.
