SINGLE HANDED YACHT RACING in 25 knots of wind

As many of you may know Ian likes sailing on his own, so when he found out that our yacht club was running a couple of races this year just for single, and double handed competitors he was looking forward to competing Unfortunately Sea Horse was still in transit back from the Solent when the first race was held earlier in the year but he was all fired up and ready for the second one. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and the competitors were greeted by a blustery 20+ knots ripping down the river, with some prolonged gusts of even more.
