Sick & Stuck on Anchor

Well, I expected to be leaving today, but instead, I'm just surfacing after 2 days knocked out with illness. However, although it damages the schedule, it's always a great opportunity for self-checking (when you are alone and feeling ill) to see how committed you really are to the goal. My conclusion after 48hrs cold, sick.and somewhat marooned bynweather on the boat? Dream = Intact. Once the weather has calmed down, I'll be departing for the 300Nm sail to the boatyard to pull the rig and to antifoul the bottom then July 1st my first solo transatlantic on Osprey will begin, in time to get me to the UK for the 100th Rolex Fastnet race.
