Sailing the Caribbean with my Wiener Dog (it's awesome)

My best friend is a wiener dog/dachshund named Charlie. He's just about to turn 9, loves treatos, long walks on the beach, and the wind in his hair. lol. Honestly I can say that even with all of the paperwork and extra steps I have to go through to bring Charlie along with me as I sail around the world, I can't imagine not having him here. A good dog is a great companion and he has adjusted so well to boat life. Sailing offshore is just another Tuesday for him now. Today we are sailing from Deshaies, Guadeloupe down to Bouiilante in Basse Terre. After a short and enjoyable sail, we head ashore on the continued hunt for the world's greatest street food.
