Sailing Solo to Tahiti - The Great Pacific Adventure Continues! (May 2025)

This episode is the final passage in French Polynesia where we sail from Rangiroa in the Tuamotus to Marine Papeete on Tahiti in the Society Islands. This is a relatively short two-day, 217 nautical mile passage. We negotiate the current and standing waves at Tiputa Pass on Rangiroa and encounter a few rain squalls on the approach to Papeete. We've sailed over 3900 nautical miles solo since Mexico, with over 6000 total nautical miles since we cast off the lines in Southern California! We still have over 5000 nautical miles left in the Great Pacific Adventure.
