Arriving in Tual, Repositioning the Boat, & Unexpected Passport Drama | Sailboat Life We finally made it to Tual around 11 AM, but things didn’t go exactly as planned! After dragging anchor, we had to reposition the boat, and then the immigration officials took our passports ashore—despite the common rule to never hand over your passport to anyone! Customs and quarantine officials came aboard to inspect the boat, and after we got all signed in, we set out to explore Tual. Along the way, we discovered that our sail was beyond repair, so it was time for some problem-solving. Meanwhile, the kids had a blast playing soccer as we took in the local sights.
