Rencontre avec Clarisse Crémer, L'Occitane en Provence | Vendée Globe 2024

🇫🇷 Clarisse Crémer grandit en région parisienne et découvre la voile lors des vacances familiales, puis en régates étudiantes pendant ses études à HEC. Sa rencontre avec le navigateur Tanguy Le Turquais l’encourage à tenter l’expérience du large. À 25 ans, elle participe à la Mini-Transat. Sa performance sportive (2e) et sa capacité à fédérer autour de ses aventures impressionnent. Elle poursuit en Figaro puis entre sur le circuit IMOCA en 2018. En 2020, elle dispute ensuite son premier tour du monde en solitaire : à l’issue de 87 jours de mer, elle devient la femme la plus rapide de l’histoire du Vendée Globe. Dès son arrivée, Clarisse n’aspire qu’à un objectif : retrouver cette compétition mythique. 🇬🇧 Clarisse Crémer grew up near Paris and discovered sailing on family holidays, then in student regattas during her studies at HEC. Meeting sailor Tanguy Le Turquais encouraged her to try offshore racing. At the age of 25, she took part in the Mini-Transat. Her sporting performance (2nd) and her ability to share her adventures impressed everyone. She continued in the Figaro class and then entered the IMOCA circuit in 2018. In 2020, she competed in her first solo round-the-world race: after 87 days at sea, she became the fastest woman in the history of the Vendée Globe.
