Rencontre avec Boris Herrmann, Malizia - Seaexplorer | Vendée Globe 2024

🇫🇷 En 2001, Boris Herrmann débute sa carrière professionnelle dans la course au large : il est alors le plus jeune participant à la Mini Transat. Depuis, il a réalisé 6 fois le tour du monde. Après une Barcelona World Race, une tentative de Trophée Jules Verne et une course autour du monde en Class40, l'océan Austral n'a plus de secrets pour lui. En 2020, il devient le premier Allemand à participer au Vendée Globe, terminant à la 5e place. Après avoir lancé le nouveau Malizia - Seaexplorer en 2022, il a terminé 3e avec son équipe Malizia sur The Ocean Race, remportant deux étapes et battant le record de distance en 24 heures. 🇬🇧 Boris Herrmann started his professional offshore sailing career in 2001 as the youngest participant in the Mini Transat race. Since then, he has circumnavigated the world 6 times. The Southern Ocean holds few secrets for him, after a Barcelona World Race, an attempt in the Jules Verne Trophy, and a Class40 race around the world. In 2020, he became the first German to ever compete in the Vendée Globe, finishing in 5th place.
