Reduced Waste Grocery Haul for Family and Garbage Pickup Vlog

Interested in cutting down your waste? In the past people have commented on my vlogs that they reuse plastic bags stores provide them with for produce and bulk bins. So, I finally tried that over the summer and it worked great. The only bummer was those darn PLU stickers for the bulk bags... Either way, I thought I'd let you know that reusing plastic bags, coffee bags, and produce bags in bulk sections does take some extra work and you do feel a little silly taking out used plastic from your purse in the store- but it works. For the everyday, conscious American family why not do what you can with what you've got rather than surrendering to the system. Eating more fruits and vegetables, making more food from scratch, cutting out animal products, taking reusables with you when you leave your home, and picking up garbage when you are out-- those are things we can all do regardless of where we live, our financial situation, our schedules, etc. I try not to beat myself up about not getting it right all of the time, but striving to do my best in every opportunity I'm given.
