► The standard version of the Rapido 40 demonstrated impressive speed potential right from its first runs. This model is available in Performance Cruiser and Racer versions. In the latter configuration, being unveiled to the public for the first time, the trimaran is 1,540 lbs (700 kg) lighter, equipped with C-foils, a carbon rig, and has an upwind sail area increased from 1,044 sq ft to 1,211 (97 m² to 112.54). ► While the central hull has a very narrow beam at the waterline, reasonable volume is nevertheless ensured inside, thanks to a marked chine. The floats are particularly voluminous, obviously guaranteeing good strength.
