PAROS & NAOUSA BAY One ESSENTIAL to Make The Good Experience GREAT! Ep 18
Paros & Naoussa Bay Solo Sailing the Cyclades I have one encounter and its a revelation... @Sailing Adventures with Grandad Solo sailing of the Cyclades I see something new, feel something different, discover more about myself and the world every day. Sometimes more than I expected or bargained for. In this chapter I share my joy of meeting Antonio and Rafael two fellow travelers, doing some "boring paperwork" in Paros & exploring Paros and Naoussa. A beautiful Island with its typical Cycladic beauty and charm. rEven though I did not want to come I am thrilled that I did. For me perhaps a bit more than the quiet Island I have visited and plan on visiting. But I did enjoy its beauty and vibes , but moree importntly I felt I such joy sharing a day with my fellow sailors that I realize my need to share this journey. Not just on YouTube but with company. So this is the realization that is "more than I bargained for.." and will lead to a change in the way continue. Sharing with you is challenging my very limited abilities as a narrator, editor and photographer but for now I have every intention of continuing. And trying to improve. If you are curious as I am you can never be bored. There is always something else to see, to learn, to study and explore. The challenge of sailing solo in the beautiful Aegean sea island to island is nothing short of magnificent. But Im sure it will be equally good and safer in company. This adventure started after our long Covid battle, desperate to sease life again I departed Palma de Mallorca going East around Sicily, across the Ionian, transiting the Corinth Canal and have been in the Aegean for this whole season of 2023. Now for some weeks sailing solo and exploring the Cyclades Ive decided to finalize this Solo voyage with a few more Islands and then welcome my fellow sailors aboard. SAILING ADVENTURES WITH GRANDAD are my amateur creations of my travels and experiences on Vayu my 44 ft X-yacht Vayu. The people I travel with, the places we go, the times we have and my reflections on living this challenge Ive created for my life.. I am a lifetime sailor, practicing yogi, father of 4, grandad of 5, amateur chef, and thankful man. I live between Palma de Mallorca, on Vayu my sailboat and in Los Cabos Mexico. I share my life now with my beautiful partner Isabel who joins me sailing when she can and when the weather is guaranteed to be nice. This channel was launched at the beginning of the Ukrainian invasion. I make monthly contributions to Save the Children-Ukraine, in the hope that my small bit added to millions of other small bits can in a small way help ease the suffering caused by this horrific war. Thanks for your interest. Sailing like life? its all in the journey! Cheers! Michael
