- - - English Discover the OVNI 430 “Noranna,” an aluminum sailing yacht with an integral centerboard, designed by the naval architecture firms Mortain/Mavrikios and CBA, and built by the Alubat shipyard in 2023. After two sailing seasons in Norway and a summer in the Mediterranean, the owners invite you to tour their boat as it stands today, now for sale. This sailboat is equipped for long-distance cruising, with everything needed to sail comfortably on any sea around the globe. As the shipyard, we know she’s in perfect condition because, on her way back from Norway, the Noranna stopped by the shipyard last winter for a refit. In particular, the owners had synthetic teak, Flexiteek⁩, added to the gunwales and the foredeck, and they had the companionway door replaced with one that’s easier to operate (which is, in fact, the same door currently installed on the OVNI models in the current lineup). In this video, you’ll discover a warm, ash-wood interior that’s bright thanks to the panoramic deckhouse. Noranna features a classic saloon layout with two double cabins and a technical compartment. This “new-generation” OVNI is constructed of medium-thick aluminum, with 10mm-thick plate in the bottoms, 8mm on the sides, and 6mm on the deck. You’ll appreciate her uncluttered deck and the rigid aluminum canopy, which allows you to stand watch while well protected. Noranna is unique in that she is a hybrid, meaning she features an electric motor from Oceanvolt⁩ and a generator. This setup offers many advantages, including: - Quiet, odor-free maneuvers - No engine maintenance - Immediate engine availability thanks to the electric motor’s torque - Fuel savings - Electricity production while sailing - And above all, what owners have particularly appreciated: "Using it for motor-sailing—as we’re doing now with 11 knots of wind, a wind angle of 60°, and the 2 kW motor running (which is very little and puts minimal strain on the batteries)—our speed increases by more than 1 knot. This saves a couple of hours, allowing us to reach our destination sooner." Feel free to check out the complete listing for this OVNI 430 on the alubat.com website under “Our Sailboats” and then “Pre-owned Sailboats.”
