We woke up in a foreign country, our first time sailing overseas, and the nerves are setting in. We're unsure where to anchor or what the proper arrival protocols are for entering a new land. With every passing wave, a sense of uncertainty grows, especially with the looming fear of potential pirates or threats. We’re sailing into unknown waters, where safety isn’t guaranteed. Already, we can see traditional sailing canoes on the horizon—a sign that we're truly somewhere different, but also a reminder that we're far from familiar shores.
