After 4 months of pulling everything apart, and 8 months of rebuilding my 46 year old boat now has a modern interior and a really high tech propulsion system. Since fitting the solar panels I've never plugged anything in, and we use power just like we would in a house. There's no thoughts on energy usage, no diesel, no petrol, no gas, everything is electric, including the dinghy motor!
