OpenPlotter Data Multiplexing - AIS on a Raymarine C80 from SignalK - Boat Projects
In this video, we learn how to filter data and send that out of OpenPlotter using a USB to Serial converter. In this example, I wanted to send the AIS data out to our Raymarine C80 display in the cockpit. This uses the NMEA to NMEA filter in SignalK, only sending the relevant information out so that we don't get a data loop. The same approach can be used to send any data you want to a device on your boat.
