Ontario 32 Sailboat Bottom Cleaning

Before and after footage of the hull of a an Ontario 32 foot sailboat in the Salish Sea, British Columbia. This boat had sat for a year since it's last bottom cleaning. The growth was moderate, probably because it fits pretty snugly in it's slip. Generally the worst growth is on hulls that get more sunlight, so this one was fairly protected. That said, the slip gets quite a lot of current so most of the growth was along the current-facing edges... and boy was it stuck on there good! The owner of this vessel also asked us to retrieve some lost items he had dropped under his boat. The diver found his lost dorade cowl, but weren't able to locate a pry bar which probably sunk into the ooze which coats the ocean floor. No pry bar, but the diver did find some other interesting things... Filmed in Canada on a GoPro Hero 9 in Nanaimo, British Columbia
