Old Boat Couch Destruction - New Couch Construction - Round Peg Through a Square Hole

We replaced the 30 year old couch in our boat. Because the doorways on the boat are smaller that normal, we had to disassemble and cut up the old couch to dispose of it. We also had to replace it with furniture that could be brought on the boat easily and assembled inside the boat. We looked at rv and boat specific furniture, but ended up buying from a "conventional" furniture company. We bought a great modular system that has proven to be very comfortable. It will also be very easy to disassemble should the need arise. Just another day in boat and van life and small space living!
