I was traveling Sri Lanka the spring of 2019 and ended up in Nuwara Eliya. By accident I arrived at the yearly coinciding New Year's celebration of the Tamil New Year (Puthandu/Puthuvarusham) and the Sinhalese New Year (Aluth Avurudda).
