Shark Creek is a shallow mangrove creek that connects one side of the island to the other. It's only navigable at high tide, and even then just barely as you can see in this video. The stark contrast between the drab and confined spaces of Shark Creek dramatically change as you approach the West side of the island. It's a fantastic ride in the dinghy, but just be sure to plan around the tides well or you just might get stuck without a way to get back until the tide comes back in.
