MV Carpe Diem, Maldives 2020 (4K) | Diving

Despite the global COVID-19 pandemic we made our way over to the Maldives to go on a seven-day Liveaboard journey around the central atolls. Our ship was the MV Carpe Diem and luckily we had most of the divespots for ourselves. The weather was sometimes rough and the wind was very strong in the first few days. That was one of the reasons why the visibility was mostly poor. But the underwater fauna was as present as ever. We experienced Mantas, Whale Sharks and many other shark species. Social distancing definitely didn't apply to the underwater world of the Maldives.
