Match Racing Highlights - RC44 Cascais World Championship

After the RC44s enjoyed some good conditions during training over the last few days, sadly the first day of racing in Cascais saw no continuation of the circuit’s 2015 Match Racing Championship thanks to the famous wind at the Portugese venue failing to materialise. Following this, Vladimir Liubomirov’s Bronenosec Sailing Team now goes into the final event of the season, the Virgin Gorda Cup, holding on to her two point lead in this season-long rolling championship. The 2015 RC44 Cascais World Championship fires up tomorrow with a forecast that suggests slightly more wind and a marginally stronger possibility of getting racing underway.
