Tan Bark is a unique sail that is typically used on traditional wooden sail boats. The color comes from the egyptian cotton sails that were soaked in a solution from tree bark in order to reduce rot. If you are considering Egyptian Tanbark Mainsails, Headsails, Mizzens or Staysails please choose your sail designer carefully.
