One of the best Maldive scuba diving spot to dive with sharks is the Fulidhoo island in the Vaavu Atoll. It is not far from Male and you be surrounded by white and black tip reef sharks. On top you have grey reef sharks and if you have a good luck even some silver tip sharks.
