Almost 80 yachts are taking part in the Classics class at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. The fleet ranges from Steve Mclaren’s magnificent 180 foot racing schooner ‘Elena of London’ to Peter Nicholson’s diminutive 102 year old 26.5 feet Solent Sunbeam ‘Dainty’. All of them had a great coastal race on Wednesday, enjoying a strong nor’wester as they powered home upwind.
