Les Saintes

Our next stop in the Eastern Caribbean is the group of small islands just south of Guadeloupe - Les Saintes. This is a very laid back place. The main island, Terre-de-Haut, swells during the day as many people visit by ferry and small cruise ships stop in several days a week. But around three in the afternoon all the visitors start to depart and it is like a different place till around nine the next morning, when the visitors come again. We find some excellent snorkeling, as well as great baguettes, croissants, and French food in general.
