(part 1) Because of some GOOD weather "light in the tunnel" here on the Sunny Coast I make a quick decision to change boatwork plans and do the HARD WORK of cleaning, sanding, epoxy undercoating and Polyurethane topcoating to the ANCHOR locker! BEFORE the HEAT of our Summer starts,.. and while I am there working in the V berth I decide to REMOVE the lining panels to get them sanded, epoxy undercoated and PU topcoated as well! Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval arcitects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress. There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,... However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,...
