Doris has been named a 2019 Grande Dame, an honor bestowed by the Pace Center for Girls organization in Lee County, Florida. Pace Center for Girls provides educational, counseling and life skills for at-risk girls in Lee County, Florida. Offshore Sailing School operates three of its schools, teaching all levels of sailing and powerboating at three resort locations in Lee County. Doris is being recognized by Pace Center for Girls for her business leadership, community service and philanthropic efforts.
