How To Add Solar Panels To A Small [30 foot] Electric Sailboat - Ep. 28 [Sailing Ixion]

Our existing solar panels weren't enough. This is how we figured out how to add solar panels to a small [30 foot] electric sailboat. Our 30 foot electric sailboat. We had already designed a solar arch months ago for the eventual installation of additional solar, but after things went south for us, we decided now was the time to build the arch. From scratch. I?m pretty sure we?re crazy. Between bending and welding metal, this was our hardest project yet. The final result looks great, but it was a doozy. 800 watts added to our existing 400, and our 30 foot sailboat now houses 1000 watts for our Electric Motor.
