Yesterday at the Holy Trinity Parish Church, Cowes, several hundred people attended the 40th Anniversary Service for the 1979 Fastnet. Gerard Butler and his fellow lightkeepers on the Fastnet played a crucial role in monitoring the participating yachts in the mountainous sea conditions.
