Full steam ahead! Bewitching BALLAST, seductive SUPERSTRUCTURE, captivating COMPRESSION TEST | Ep. 29 Only 6 weeks left until we need to get back into the water, are we going to make it??!! This week we continued the fibreglass work for resealing part of the old water ballast tank to use with drinking water. We found the reason that the sail drive was leaking oil and re-compression tested the engine - will all our hard work have paid off? We also reveal a major job we had to do that we'd forgotten to mention before which begins with b and ends with m! We're planning to set sail again in Oct 2022, so with limited time&money we have plenty of challenges ahead to turn our dreams into reality&get back on the water!
