The responsibility of running the show at the RC44 Cascais Cup falls squarely on the shoulders of the best PRO in the business, Peter ‘Luigi’ Reggio. We find out what it takes to perform a "perfect start" from both the crew and the race committee´s point of view as Team Ceeref executed strong starts on the first day of fleet racing, enabling them to win the first two races. However in the third race their start was a little ‘too’ good - they crossed the line a second too early and had to loop around the race committee boat to restart correctly. Winning this race was John Bassadone’s Peninsula Petroleum, a score that enabled the Gibraltar-based team to take the overall lead. The RC44 Cascais Cup is the fourth event of the 2016 Championship Tour, which pitts the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.
