Episode #85 Across the Bay Southward!
In this video we sail from Solomon's Maryland to Cape Charles, Virginia- a total of 75 nautical miles! Across the bay and out of sight of land for the first time, Vin also encounters waves for the first time! Although small (2-3 feet), it was a first for Vin. Another first: he motored into port in the dark, and takes out a reef for the 1st time. Lots of 'firsts' and lots of learning for him. Check out the voyage!
