EP44, Sailing back to Valdivia, the last leg of Patagonia shakedown trip #ithacacruising

After two nights of rest in Puerto Inglés, we are on tour way back to Valdivia. This is our last leg and we will sail along the Pacific coast. The clam water of Patagonia and Chiloe is over and we'll befacing ocean waves and boat rolling. The outside bay of Puerto Inglés is surprisingly beautiful. The beach is full of little colorful pebbles. As we had some time to explore the bay this time, we found a whole patch of tea berries. In the bay, we came across a new seabird "Imperial Cormorrants". They look like penguins when standing on the shore. Ithaca's new friend, Boaty MC Boatface, is accompanying us as we are heading to the same marina in Estancilla. Of course, at the mouth of the canal, there are over falls. Plus the ocean waves, the boat is rolling and the ladies were getting seasick. There was no wind, or either too weak, we were running the engine all the way to Valdivia and safely tied to the jetty. Now we will stay here for a month and get ourselves ready for the Pacific. #sailaroundtheworld #sailboatlife #chile #patagoniachile #ithacacruising
