Our crew member Alain joins us for this crossing. He's a great sailor, a regular in this part of the world, the owner of several large wooden boats, an outstanding cook and a great laugh. We'll have to wait again for our exceptional permission to leave, as things don't quite go to plan, Then a few gags on board, and we're off.
