DIY Microwave Oven Transformer (MOT) Arc Welder Unballasted microwave oven transformer (MOT) arc welder. Slight current regulation by the shunts in the transformers, I did not take them out. Peaks around 170A, welds 2mm (5/64") welding rods well.
